bouchon brunch

As a thank you to my sister, I took her and Ron out for brunch. My parents decided it was a good idea, so they came along. We piled into the car and headed to Bouchon in Beverly Hills. Lucky for us, we found street parking and walked a short distance to the restaurant. We headed up several flights of stairs and were seated promptly by the window. So nice. The restaurant was filling with patrons and we had a good seat in the house.

Kim ordered the steak frites, Ron had one of the daily specials – boudin blanc, dad chose the short ribs, mom went with chicken ‘n’ waffles and I had the croque madame. We were all very pleased with the food but wanting in service. Our waiter wasn’t attentive and he couldn’t pronounce the menu items in their native language – French. We were thinking, if you’re working at Bouchon, you should at least know how to say the dishes right? Hmph.

The food..
