day by day

This week has been pretty much an emotional rollercoaster.
BunBun passed away, big meeting at work, co-worker quitting.. it gets to be overwhelming sometimes, but somehow, someway, I still manage to eat really well.

The day of Bun’s death, we celebrated his life with a meal at Sushi Gen. I’ve eaten at enough sushi places to know good fish when I taste it. They’ve got the best. If someone knows of better, let me know RIGHT away.

Last night, we went to The Edison where we enjoyed alcoholic beverages galore and tasty bites.

Today, we celebrated our loved ones who have passed with cemetery visits and traditional Chinese fare. Roasted duck, chicken, veggies and various dim sum. Of course, we had enough food to eat it for dinner too.
